The most vulnerable victims of poverty are children. Commercial and sexual exploitation of children is unfortunately a major issue globally, and particularly in poor countries with weak economic and justice systems.
Joyce Odame, Program Manager for Child Rights at International Needs Ghana, will be visiting Australia during March 2014 and will be participating at the Child Exploitation Forum in Blackburn North on Thursday, 20th March, along with guest panellists Melinda Tankard Reist (Collective Shout) and Jess Groszek (Unshackled). She will also be speaking at a number of other events around Melbourne — details of event times and locations are available at the International Needs web site.
If you want to learn more about the issues and how you can play a part in the war against child exploitation, come along to one of these events.
